About This Game

A signal lost in the dark

After Silence is a 2D isometric sci-fi survival adventure set on a remote colony world locked in an endless night.

You wake after a failed orbital descent with damaged systems, low oxygen, and no contact with Earth. The colony below has been silent for decades. Its roads are broken, its relays are dead, and the people who remain have learned to live without answers.

Your rover is your mobile base, your shelter, and your only reliable way to travel between distant locations. Choose your destination, prepare each expedition, and manage oxygen, suit shield, and rover battery. Scan distorted signals and decide when to push farther into the unknown or turn back before the margin disappears.

The planet is not empty. Survivors, old machines, silent capsules, and unstable anomalies all point to a history no one fully understands. Restoring the signal is your mission, but the longer you stay, the less certain you become that it should be restored.

Plan each expedition

Every journey begins with a decision: where to travel, what to carry, and how far you can explore before returning becomes the only safe choice.

Use the rover’s navigation system to select distant locations and spend limited battery power to reach them. Once you arrive, continue on foot through darkness, damaged infrastructure, and unstable terrain. Oxygen and suit systems determine how far you can investigate before you must return to shelter.

The rover is not just transportation. It is where you plan, recover, recharge, modify equipment, review new leads, and choose the next destination.

Survive the world, not waves of enemies

After Silence focuses on atmosphere, exploration, and environmental pressure rather than heavy combat. The planet itself is the main threat: low visibility, storms, unstable anomalies, damaged infrastructure, and failing systems.

You are not clearing arenas. You are trying to make it back.

Follow broken signals

Signals, logs, abandoned structures, and survivor accounts reveal fragments of what happened to the colony. No single voice has the whole truth. What looks like a rescue mission may become something less certain.

Key features

  • Explore a 2D isometric sci-fi world shaped by darkness, silence, and ruined colony infrastructure.

  • Use your rover as a mobile base, shelter, charging point, and navigation hub between distant locations.

  • Choose destinations and plan expeditions around limited rover battery, oxygen, and suit condition.

  • Manage critical systems, including oxygen, suit shield, and rover battery.

  • Make on-foot route decisions where shorter paths may cost protection, while safer paths may cost time and oxygen.

  • Investigate broken signals, abandoned sites, anomalies, and traces of the people who survived the colony’s collapse.

  • Return, modify, recharge, and choose the next lead as each expedition pushes the world a little further open.

  • Uncover a story of duty, isolation, and uncertainty, where restoring contact may not mean saving everyone.
