"High Level Alchemy - Scenarios" is an anthology of action and slice-of-life short stories, following a group of not-so-"good" Alchemists, navigating brutal and bloody battles and the messy reality of living alongside each other.

🜍🜎 About Game 🜔☿:

"HLA- Scenarios" is a series of short, disconnected, non-chronological stories (or "scenarios") that take place in the larger "High Level Alchemy" universe. Each scenario takes place in a different character's good or bad route. 

🜏🜘 Story Synopses 🜙SM:

Total VN time: ~60k Words / 6 Hours

• The Wolf and the Sheep (~19k-25k words / 2-2.5 hours / 3 Endings) - The group are participating in the Philosopher's Exam, with the goal of winning the tournament to have a meeting with the Philosopher to get closer to a Philosopher's Stone. They have a plan of how to easily win, but their individual goals may cause that plan to go horribly wrong...

• Girls' Night  (~12k words / 1.2 hours / 1 Ending)- On the 4th of July, and growing tired of dealing with the boys and growing bored of the current city they're residing in, Ignis approaches Gyne and asks to have a "Girls' Night out". They go out into the city to have some fun before the fireworks begin, but a strange, dangerous group interrupts them...

• Boys' Night (~10k words / 1 hour / 1 Ending) - While Ignis goes off to visit her family, Gyne gets kidnapped by a group of bounty hunting Alchemists. Tyrell and Dane go on a short journey to find Gyne and free her from the bounty hunters, but it's questionable how Gyne was even kidnapped in the first place or whether if she even needs their help...

• I'm so 🜖🜄🜆🜳🜀 / Hugs (~12k words / 1.2 hours / 1 Ending) - After a very heated argument between Ignis and Dane, Ignis goes off to assassinate one of the leaders of the Alchemist gang "Dii Solis", who's been out to assassinate her for months now, at the request of her own father. Normally this would be a trivial task, but the target happens to be Ignis' own grandmother...

🜀 The Characters 🜀:

Gyne (🜔🝤):

A calm, alien-like, and ever-smiling college professor, who has a very unhealthy obsession with insects. In her many years of life (no one can say how many), she has learned hundreds of thousands of Alchemic Equations, and is rumored to be one of the strongest Alchemists around, with the unofficial title of "Philosopher". Despite this, she seems to primarily use insect-related Alchemy exclusively. She does not know how to properly communicate with or relate to other humans, and it's questionable if she's even human herself, and not just an amalgamation of roaches in a human skin suit...

Ignis (🜂☉):

A hotheaded, prideful girl with the power, fame, and money to back it up. Ignis is the daughter of the most famous and wealthiest families in the country, the Aurum family. Her father, Mr. Aurum, holds deep connections in politics, the economy, and all the Alchemic institutions. Naturally, this makes Ignis a celebrity, and a target. She is a pro in fire-related Alchemy, and spends her free time studying Alchemy extensively. She has only two desires, to make her dad proud, and to be the strongest Alchemist, no matter what.

Tyrell (♂🝩):

Tyrell is a quiet and observant warrior. He has never had any aspirations to be an "Alchemist" or a "Philosopher", or hunting for a "Philosopher's Stone". He dreamed of doing many more things with his life, to help as many people as he could. But "Fate" has made the choice on his behalf, as when he was a child, his older brother injected him with the extremely rare "Sophic Mercury" before his death, completely disabling Tyrell's eye and withering his arm away. Sophic Mercury is the key ingredient in creating a Philosopher's Stone, the stone that grant any wish. Sophic Mercury is the most potent element in the world, and it cannot be removed from Tyrell's body easily. Therefore he has decided to specialize in weapon-creation Alchemy, and has a massive arsenal of weaponry he can create that he has amassed over the years. Tyrell is forever married to this brutal world of Alchemy, and it has in turn made him brutal too. He has changed a lot, but one thing about him has not changed, and that he dreams of a world where the wolves can lie down with the sheep.

Dane (🜁🝣):

A sarcastic, smart-mouthed jokester. Dane will always find the light in any situation, no matter how grim it may be. His heart is big, and he cares deeply for his friends, as they are all he has in this world. Dane is the son of a vilified ex-Philosopher, who lost his title, status, and fame after accidentally casing "the catastrophe". Dane's father specialized in gravity alchemy, a highly forbidden and monitored form of alchemy. Despite many warnings from friends, family, the government, and other Philosophers, Dane's father tried to create a black hole with his gravity alchemy, and killed millions. His father was assassinated years later. Dane was only an infant when the catastrophe happened, but he still carries his father's blame. Dane holds the noble title of "The Disgraced One", and he is vilified by every stranger who recognizes him. Dane hates Alchemy, and would have no higher joy than having it removed from the world completely. After his father's death, Dane has dedicated his life to learning the same gravity alchemy many warned his father about. Many worry of another catastrophe, and seek to cut Dane down before he makes the same mistake as his father, if he's even following in those footsteps...
