What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access should provide us with the needed feedback to make our future updates and levels as focused and polished as possible while exposing our title to a public audience early on in its development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is to have the game in Early Access for around 3-4 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We expect to have three complete levels, several difficulty modes, and an early iteration of our UI and menus for Early Access. We plan to expand the game beyond Early Access with additional levels and gameplay modes, achievements, easter eggs, potential cosmetics, more polished UI, and improved accessibility features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of the game features two main levels, a main menu screen, a level selection screen, a loading screen, an in-game guide covering many gameplay features, and an inclusive settings menu with player-facing accessibility options. We are actively developing additional features and content as the game approaches Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will remain free from Early Access to its full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan on directly implementing community feedback that we find will benefit the game (level balance suggestions, new feature suggestions, accessibility requests, etc.), potentially hosting polls for specific game inclusions, including credits shouting out any major content creators who cover our game, and releasing supplemental content focused on improving community engagement on our social media platforms.”

About This Game

Time Stop Tower Defense is a fast-paced, time-focused twist on the tower defense genre.

Towers don't automatically aim at enemies—you must actively redirect their projectiles toward incoming enemies while balancing targeting, tower placement, and enemy positions.

To survive larger and tougher waves of foes, you unlock powerful upgrades—including abilities that manipulate time itself to provide an otherworldly advantage.

You play as an enigmatic inventor in a single-player experience, journeying through handcrafted levels featuring vibrant landscapes, customizable difficulty, and unexpected obstacles. The story unfolds through a dialogue-free comic style, introducing new characters, towers, and plot escalations in an arc-based structure.

Ultimately, you must recover lost time shards scattered across the land to repair your time-stopping sundial. As the sundial’s true form takes shape, the mystery behind its strange abilities gradually unravels itself, revealing consequences no inventor could have predicted.
