Why Early Access?

“"ECHO : VORTEX is built by a one-person studio, and I believe the best version of this game will be shaped together with its players. Early Access lets me put the core experience in your hands now, gather real feedback, and grow the game in the direction the community cares about most. The signature mechanic I'm most excited about sound-based enemy detection will be developed and tuned with player input, and that's exactly the kind of feature that benefits from an open development process.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to keep ECHO : VORTEX in Early Access for roughly 9 to 12 months. This timeline may shift depending on the scope of new features and community feedback. My goal is to leave Early Access only when the game feels complete, polished, and worthy of a full release not to rush an arbitrary date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to expand ECHO : VORTEX significantly during Early Access. Planned additions include:

- Sound-based enemy detection enemies that hear your movement and shooting, turning silence into a survival tool.
- New enemy types, including one that is fully driven by sound.
- A Ghost Replay mode and Daily Challenges for competitive players.
- Weapon and permanent upgrades, cosmetics, and skins.
- An expanded story and lore layer, dynamic music, and a visual polish pass.
- A larger set of achievements and additional content.

These are goals I'm actively working toward. The final scope may evolve based on what the community responds to most.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully playable and contains the complete core loop. Players can: navigate procedurally generated tunnels, fight four distinct enemy types, defeat a three-phase final boss, collect Meteoroids and Gold Plaques, spend resources in the shop on lasers and shields, compete on a global leaderboard, and earn Steam Achievements. The game also includes full settings with graphics, audio, and key rebinding options, plus English and Turkish interface support. It is stable and complete enough to enjoy from start to finish today.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. I plan to gradually increase the price as new content, features, and major updates are added during Early Access. Players who join early will pay the lowest price and receive all future updates at no additional cost. Buying now is the most affordable way to experience the game and support its development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback directly drives the roadmap. I plan to stay closely involved through the Steam Community Hub and discussions, reading bug reports, suggestions, and ideas, and prioritizing updates based on what players want most. I'll share development progress openly and treat the roadmap as something we write together. Players who get involved early will have a real influence on how ECHO : VORTEX evolves.”
