About This Game

AN ENDLESS JOURNEY

The world is gone, but the road goes on.

Route 48 is a first-person driving survival game where every journey takes place in a procedurally generated world. Explore abandoned places, highways, forests, and hidden locations while searching for the resources needed to survive.

Every new game creates a different world, giving you a new route to discover every time you play.

YOUR CAR IS YOUR LIFELINE

A broken vehicle can mean the end of your journey.

Manage your fuel, repair damaged parts, and keep your car running as you travel deeper into the unknown. Scavenge for replacement parts and supplies before you're forced to continue on foot.



LOOT, FIGHT, SURVIVE

Search abandoned buildings for food, weapons, ammunition, medical supplies, fuel, and valuable equipment.

The infected aren't the only threat. Hostile survivors roam the world as well, forcing you to decide when to fight, when to avoid danger, and when it's time to get back on the road.

PROCEDURAL REPLAYABILITY

No two journeys are the same.

Every playthrough generates a new world with different roads, towns, forests, loot locations, and encounters, making exploration feel fresh every time you start a new game.
