Why Early Access?

“Endless Defense is already playable, but we want to improve and expand it with player feedback before the full release. Since the game is built around replayability, balance, turret upgrades, traits, and long-term progression, Early Access will help us understand which builds feel fun, which systems need tuning, and what kind of content players want to see more of.

Our goal is to use Early Access to polish the core experience, improve balance, add more content, and make the game stronger with help from the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Endless Defense to remain in Early Access for approximately 3 to 6 months.

This may change depending on player feedback, development progress, and the amount of content we decide to add before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include more content, better balancing, additional polish, and improved long-term replayability.

During Early Access, we plan to add and improve features such as:

-New turrets, traits, upgrades, and challenges
-Better balance for endless runs and progression
-UI, visual, sound, and performance improvements
-More quality-of-life features
-Additional game content based on player feedback

We also plan to implement a new game mode with a new map, giving players another way to experience Endless Defense beyond the current core mode.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core Endless Defense gameplay experience.

Players can build and upgrade turrets, survive endless waves, choose traits, use upgrade cards, complete challenges, earn progression rewards, and try to reach higher scores. The main gameplay loop is playable, but some systems may still need balancing, polish, and additional content.

The game is fully playable in its current state, but Early Access will allow us to expand and improve it before the full release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to change the price after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to listen closely to community feedback throughout Early Access.

Player feedback will help guide balance changes, new content priorities, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and future updates. We especially want to hear what players think about turret balance, trait choices, progression, difficulty, and replayability.”
