About This Game

THE ANCIENT EGYPTIAN AFTERLIFE

Peace, Pharaoh. You have died, but it is not the end. You now must travel across the afterlife, and prove your worth by playing an ancient board game. Fortunately, you are equipped with spells, amulets, and ushabti from your tomb.

CHEAT THE GAME

Ushabtis are your game tokens that generate unique dice. Amulets stack passive effects that buff movement, decrease costs, or increase rewards. Spells are game-breaking abilities that let you control the board. Build a powerful deck that stack abilities and exploits synergies.

Spend dice to speed ushabti across the board or burn them to cast from your collection of spells. Personalize your deck, and choose your strategy: carefully avoid obstacles, skip past them, or blast them away with a spell.

BABOONS, SCARABS, & SLAUGHTERERS

Face challenges based on the ancient Egyptian board game Senet. Race baboons across the tiles, face off against enemy pharaohs, avoid the Slaughterers, and complete unique temple challenges.

THE BOOK OF THE DEAD

The art, gameplay, and mechanics are heavily inspired by the Book of the Dead and ancient Egyptian mythology.
