About This Game

In NeonSync, the network is not a menu.

It is a space you cross in first person:

corridors, interfaces, threats and combat built from terminal characters.

You enter cyberspace, read the signals around you and confront malware inside

the node it has infected. ASCII is not a filter placed over conventional art:

it is the visual language of the entire world.

The story campaign uses handcrafted maps filled with hosts, routes and unknown areas waiting to be discovered.

Beyond it, the NEXUS offers 99 procedural floors that put your decisions and compiled builds to the test.

The map distinguishes UNKNOWN, DETECTED, VISITED and SCANNED space.

Staying connected, examining routes and exposing yourself to the network increases TRACE pressure.

Knowing when to advance and when to disappear is part of exploration.

Inside the Forge, 21 pieces can be combined into active recipes, passive effects

and weapon payloads.

Your physical attack is always available and costs no RAM.

Damage is deterministic, allowing you to calculate the result before executing

an action.

Underclock lowers cost and risk.

Overclock increases power, HEAT and TRACE.

Your hand, sword, pistol and cyberwhip change how a payload reaches its target.

Building an attack means choosing not only what to execute, but how much risk to

accept.

There are 10 malware families and 91 records.

Every enemy has its own behavior, resistances and visual signature.

A TROJAN decrypts its own shape, a KEYLOGGER appears as typed text, and a BOTNET assembles itself from fragments.

Watch how each threat enters the scene, responds to attacks and exposes its patterns.

Understanding the enemy improves every decision that follows.

What looks like chaos during the first intrusion becomes information during the next.

Story sectors cannot be reopened during the same campaign.

Captured evidence is preserved in ARQUIVO for later analysis.

Main content cannot be missed, but optional opportunities may expire, change owners or resurface through FREEWEB.

A new campaign does not automatically return loot, recipes or secrets. The advantage that truly survives each attempt is what you have learned about the network, its systems and its malware.
