THE LUMBERWOODS

Step into the shadows of a cryptic wilderness. In Into the Lumberwoods, you are a cryptid fighting for survival in a shifting, hostile ecosystem. Armed with curious weaponry and artifacts, you must navigate an unpredictable grid of infested battlegrounds, treasure vaults, and deadly challenges. The forest is alive and mysterious eyes are watching from the canopy.

KEY FEATURES

  • Fast-Paced Roguelite Action: blast your way through intense combat. Gain powerful artifacts, dodge enemy attacks, and turn the tide of chaotic encounters.

  • The Journal: Your safe haven is a lonely wooden shack deep in the pines. Step inside and open a mysterious codex to permanently upgrade your character. Alter your physical anatomy, mutating your cardiovascular system, moth wings, and neurological reflexes to unlock devastating power.

  • Dynamic Grid-Based Exploration: Chart your course across a randomly generated map. Hunt down elusive NPCs, unearth hidden artifacts that alter your play style, and adapt to as you push deeper into uncharted territory.

  • A Cryptidcore Aesthetic: Immerse yourself into the cryptid filled forest supplemented by a cozy autumn cryptidcore pixel art aesthetic. 

THE HUNT IS ON

From the lumbering, flesh-bound Globsters to the terrifying, pinpoint accuracy of the Observers, every entity in the woods has a strategy to end your run.
