FlashBoss British English Layer - Pronunciation and Spelling

FlashBoss defaults to American English. To bridge the gap, this pack adds the British English Female voice to your cards — warm, competent and charismatic; confident, clear and friendly. A neutral, modern British accent reading every word and example sentence aloud with exemplary pronunciation.

A note on spelling: in the English interface the menus stay in American English, but every English pack carries a full British text layer. With a British voice active, FlashBoss follows it — your cards switch to -ise, metre, centre and colour automatically — the written word always matches the spoken one. HELP & OPTIONS → Preferences → Language preferences → ENGLISH SPELLING pins American or British text regardless of which voice is active.

In this pack:

• The British English Female neural voice, applied across all your FlashBoss cards

• Warm, clear, confident pronunciation for every word and example sentence

• British spelling follows the voice across the English packs — automatic, and reversible in Preferences

• Works with the built-in text-to-speech window (Ctrl+P) — paste any text and hear it read aloud

Hear it first — and know what it changes

Every FlashBoss voice can be heard before you buy: the manual link on this page opens the FlashBoss manual, where each voice has its own page.

This voice installs as your default. The moment it is installed it takes over as the reading voice, and your English cards follow it into British spelling. Both are reversible at any time, and independently: go to HELP & OPTIONS → Preferences, where Language preferences → ENGLISH SPELLING pins American, British or Auto, and Audio and voice restores the American default voice.
