Why Early Access?

“Football Agent is a deep, systems-driven football agency simulation built by a solo developer. Early Access lets us grow the game together with its community — feedback on balance, the transfer market, and which features matter most will directly shape development. Real players will stress-test the economy and systems in ways solo testing never could.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Football Agent to stay in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months. We would rather leave Early Access when the game is genuinely ready than rush to a fixed date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access we plan to expand the game with a larger and richer player database, more random events and negotiation scenarios, Steam achievements, deeper balancing, and quality-of-life improvements driven by player feedback. The core loop — scout, sign, develop, sell — is already fully playable; the full version aims to deepen and broaden it. These are goals, not guarantees.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Football Agent is already fully playable from start to finish: scout 26,000+ players across 76 leagues, win clients over through multi-week negotiations, play weekly matches with live text commentary, and sell players in a living transfer market. Single-player, fully in English and Turkish, with fail states, season goals, rival agents, European cups, national teams and more. It is a complete, playable experience we intend to keep expanding.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase as we add significant content and leave Early Access. Buying during Early Access supports development at the current price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will directly shape Football Agent's Early Access roadmap. Players can share ideas, report bugs, and request features through the Steam Community Hub and our Discord, and we'll read everything.

As a data-driven management sim, the details matter — transfer balance, the economy, player progression, AI rival behaviour, and event variety are all areas we want to tune based on how the community actually plays. We'll post regular update notes explaining what changed and why, run polls on which features to prioritise next (deeper negotiations, more leagues/clubs, new event content, additional languages), and highlight community suggestions that make it into the game.

We also plan to support community-made content: the game ships with an in-app data/name-pack import system, so players can create and share their own custom packs. Early Access is a collaboration — the players who join early will help decide what Football Agent becomes at 1.0.”
