Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The core loop and progression system are built and playable, but the hardest part to get right — pacing and balance across branching upgrade paths and reaction chains — needs more players and more playtime than I can cover on my own. Early Access lets me tune the numbers against real feedback before locking them in for the full release.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As of now, four arcs are complete, from raw elements to the first steps of biology. I'd like to add the next stretch of content by the end of the year, but this is uncharted territory for me and hard to pin down exactly — I'll share updates as the picture gets clearer.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to grow the game into the full journey it's meant to be: a complete path of eight to nine stages, from the first atoms all the way to a living biosphere. Where Early Access covers the chemical foundation, the later stages are planned to introduce cells, multicellular organisms, and whole biomes — layering new mechanics on top of the core loop as the scale shifts from molecules to living worlds. It's an ambitious scope for one developer, and I won't pretend the exact pace is certain — but community feedback during Early Access will help me shape what comes next, and how.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“BioSphere is fully playable through its first four arcs — from atoms and simple molecules to the first biopolymers. The core loop and systems shown in the "About This Game" section are already in place; the later stages it looks ahead to — cells, organisms, biomes — are what Early Access will build toward.

In concrete terms, the current version includes:
- Four full arcs of content, each with its own resources, reactions and goals
- The complete active core loop — catching drifting components, combining, clustering and multi-step synthesis
- Over 150 substances and products to discover, made through more than 70 combination and cluster reactions
- Nearly 30 in-game collections to complete
- The Genesis Chamber — a strategic meta-layer that banks your matter across every arc
- Tutorial and in-game help, plus per-arc goals, upgrades and milestones to guide progression

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. I plan to raise the price as the game grows toward its full release. By joining during Early Access now, you lock in the lowest price the game will have.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Balance and mechanics feedback matters most right now — what feels satisfying, what drags, where the difficulty curve is off. I'm a solo developer, with friends and family helping me test, so I read everything and shape the roadmap around it as Early Access continues.”

About This Game

Craft Life, Atom by Atom

From single atoms to the first sparks of life — and, one day, a whole biosphere.

An active science clicker inspired by real biochemistry. You'll be clicking briskly and catching on the fly, while a strategic idle layer bubbles away quietly in the background. You start with elementary particles and build ever more complex structures, unlocking new resources and reactions as you go. Minimalist vector visuals and an unfussy sci-fi soundscape.

Catch, Combine, Synthesize

Chemical and biological components of every kind drift across the field — your click catches them and knocks them into all manner of reactions and combinations. Synthesis climbs steadily: atoms, molecules, monomers, polymers. And onward — cells, organisms, biomes.

(Almost) Real Biochemistry

BioSphere traces the real road from chemistry to life, but allows itself a few friendly liberties along the way: for water, hydrogen and oxygen simply click together — no need to count out every atom. The science is here to inspire, not to set you poring over test tubes.

Grow a Living Planet

Every reaction feeds the reactors of the Genesis Chamber — a strategic meta-layer that banks everything you produce as you progress. Its balance of elements sets the proportions of a living world in the making. No prestige points, no artificial score — only real units of matter: particles, atoms, molecules, cells.

The game grows through Early Access — let's chart the path to a biosphere together, atom by atom.
