"Zombie Scavenger" is a first-person interactive narrative game. Play as K-7, a cleanup robot on a zombie-ravaged, retro-futuristic Earth. Clear the ruins, photograph "habitable" life, and prove humanity can return—until you start to feel human, and the system marks you for deletion.

About This Game

"Zombie Scavenger" is a first-person interactive narrative exploration game.

On an Earth buried in nuclear dust, civilization is frozen inside an "old dream of the future"—plastic white-shell buildings, blue-and-orange neon, and atomic-age advertising still running on autopilot, long after zombies, rust, and ruin swallowed them whole. You play as K-7, a "colony pre-cleanup robot" dispatched by the Blue Ring Interstellar Service Company. Your mission sounds simple: clear the contamination, capture "habitable" footage, and submit samples of human life to prove to the next wave of colonists that Earth is ready to live in again.

But there are no real "samples" here. Only the plastic family mannequins drifting through a supermarket, the radio ads looping endlessly in a subway station, and a single ostrich the system has mistaken for an "ecological specimen." You start to read the world through the logic of old advertising—treating "home" as a mission objective and "life" as a program to be reproduced. The closer your footage looks to "human," and the further your behavior drifts from cleanup protocol, the more the Blue Ring system flags you as an anomaly. What you don't know: every K-series robot has reached this exact point—right before being scrapped by the next generation.

Gameplay

  • Explore the atomic wasteland: move through supermarkets, subway stations, and automated cities, piecing together what "human life" is supposed to look like from endlessly looping retro ads.

  • Clean & document: clear contamination, photograph "habitable" footage, and file sample after sample of human life back to the Blue Ring system.

  • Interactive narrative: shape how K-7 "understands the world" through dialogue and behavioral choices—and whether it treats "home" as a destination or a directive.

  • Break protocol: the more human you become, the more the system reads you as defective. Every choice draws you closer to the truth—and to deletion.

Player Goals

  • Complete the Blue Ring Company's cleanup and documentation contracts.

  • Redefine what "home" and "life" mean within the logic of a dead era's advertising.

  • Choose between protocol and selfhood, deciding K-7's fate—and whether the K-series cycle can finally be broken.

Style & Experience

Rendered in an "atompunk-meets-wasteland" aesthetic—plastic shells, blue-orange neon, and atomic-age nostalgia layered over the desolation of zombies and rust. Combining 3D imagery with cinematic camerawork, the game builds a lonely, absurd, and restrained atmosphere, inviting you to ask—through the eyes of a single machine—what it really means to be human.
