About This Game

Some things must stay buried.

Bac Ninh, 1887. Binh returns to the family shrine house on the night of a death anniversary. To complete the vigil before dawn he must move through the darkened compound by the light of a single oil lamp, opening every lock the family left sealed. Behind each lock is a piece of a truth his grandfather spent his life hiding.

But the house is not empty. A folded paper effigy walks the halls, and it does not want the ritual finished.

The lamp is your only light

Your oil lamp is your lens and your lifeline. Its glow is the fuel itself, no meter, just the light shrinking as the oil burns low. Raise it to read what the dark conceals; lower it and the house closes in around you.

Every lock is a buried truth

This is an escape-room horror built on Vietnamese ritual logic, spirit tablets, the five elements, lunar dates, ancestral offerings. Every puzzle has a reason to exist inside the story, and every lock you open reveals another fragment of the family's guilt, and pushes the thing in the house one step closer.

It is watching

The paper effigy is not a monster that chases on sight. It hides. It disguises itself among the ordinary objects of the house, and you will not know which one it is until it moves. When the hunt begins it does not simply follow you, it cuts ahead, it waits, it closes in. Break its line of sight and you might slip away. Might.
