About This Game

JANJARA is an online automatic mahjong table simulator where people gather in the same parlor and handle the tiles themselves. Enjoy the workings of the machine and the moments shared around the table.

ONE PARLOR, DIFFERENT TABLES

The full game features a shared parlor for up to 20 people, with five tables. Each table has four seats. Walk through the room, take an empty seat, and gather around a table. Players at other tables share the same place.

HANDLE THE TILES YOURSELVES

Pick up a tile, move it, discard it, and arrange your hand. Take point sticks or chips and pass them across the table. Handling the objects with your own hands is at the heart of the experience.

LET THE MACHINE PREPARE THE NEXT HAND

Return the tiles, watch the shuffle and the walls rise, then begin the next hand. The automatic table takes care of its mechanical cycle while you handle the mahjong.

YOUR GROUP BRINGS THE RULES

Your group chooses the rules, keeps the hand moving, judges yaku, calculates scores, and settles the results. JANJARA does not judge yaku or calculate scores automatically, enforce turns or legal moves, or automatically correct the players.

the in-game "riichi" voice lines were synthesized with VOICEVOX (AI speech
synthesis), and some in-game text and its English localization were written
with AI assistance. AI assistance was used to edit and localize the Steam store
text and to help select, crop, and composite developer-captured gameplay
screenshots and recordings with the developer-provided JANJARA logo for store
capsules, library artwork, client icons, and the trailer. No synthetic gameplay
