About This Game

Kingdom Chronicle is a turn-based fantasy strategy game where you become the ruler of a single nation on a continent torn by warring powers and set out to unify it. The interface and controls are kept clean and clear. Master every tool at your disposal — domestic affairs, diplomacy, intrigue, and war — and bring peace to a land in chaos.

■ Build your nation through domestic rule

Grow your national power through development, raise a strong army through conscription and training, and keep your people loyal through relief. Funds, national power, public loyalty, and fame all intertwine — how you manage your state decides victory and defeat.

■ Diplomacy and intrigue

Build trust through goodwill and fight side by side through alliances — or break your enemy from within through schemes (raids, rumor, sabotage) and headhunting. Use espionage to read your opponent's hand.

■ The interplay of six unit types

Cavalry, archers, and spearmen form a rock-paper-scissors triangle (cavalry → archers → spearmen → cavalry). Swordsmen don't excel in any one area but are a stable all-rounder that holds its own against any type. Mages have a wide swing in power — devastating when they land, but a volatile gamble. Heavy infantry excel at defense, showing their true worth when holding the line rather than attacking. Troop counts, training levels, and special skills all come into play. Between sorties, interception, reinforcement, and even calling for allied support, every war is a chain of reading and counter-reading.

■ One run, one hour. So you can experiment

An area battle takes 30 minutes to an hour; even a full-continent campaign is decided in 1-2 hours. Strategy games tend to push their entrance farther away as they grow deeper — there's more to learn, and players drop out before ever reaching the fun. Kingdom Chronicle is designed so the meaning and effect of each command is intuitively clear, building that entrance back in. Because a run is short, you can afford to fail. Lose, and just try again. That retry becomes the lesson.

■ A cast of distinct officers

Around 168 officers, each with their own stats, unit type, special skills, and personality. Add them to your side through recruitment, headhunting, and capture — and every officer you bring under your command is recorded in the compendium.

■ Endless replayability

With its clean interface and controls as the entry point, area battles and the full-continent campaign, three difficulty levels (Easy / Normal / Hard), and multiple paths to victory (unification, alliance) mean the flow changes every time you play.

■ After the ending: create your own officer

Conquer the full-continent campaign to unlock "Officer Registration." Freely set stats, unit type, special skills, and personality to create your own original officer, and take them into your next battle.
