About This Game

King Alone is a tower defense game set in a dark fantasy medieval kingdom at war with its own countryside. The roads roll by day, the horde comes in ranks, and the King himself is on the field, breaking those ranks with his convoy in auto-battler fashion. Hire the survivors on the way, explore unique war carts, wager for the bright future, and ride on.

EXPAND TO PROTECT YOUR QUEEN

Expand your convoy with new wagons, stronger fortifications, animals, and more farmers or strangers looking for a purpose. A larger caravan gives you more options and lets you build more powerful tools, but everything you add becomes another thing you must protect when the enemies arrive.

EXPLORE DIVERSE AND DANGEROUS LANDS, AND ADAPT TO SURVIVE.

Travel through diverse and dangerous lands, from dense forests and frozen wastelands to treacherous swamps and regions far beyond. Each area brings new enemies, hazards and challenges, forcing you to adapt the way you build and defend your wagon.

RECRUIT SURVIVORS. GIVE THEM A PURPOSE

Recruit the people you encounter and decide where they are needed most. Send them to gather wood or assign them to defend the caravan. While you hold back the horde, your people work to keep the convoy alive and moving.

USE EVERY MOMENT TO OPTIMIZE AND PREPARE

Survive each day to earn a brief moment of safety before continuing your journey. Reassign your people, spend gathered resources, reinforce your wagons, upgrade your defenses, and prepare for the next attack. The decisions you make between waves can be just as important as how fiercely you fight.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY. KILL THE BIGGEST THREAT FIRST.

Face enemies with different strengths, behaviors, and ways of threatening your caravan. Some charge directly at everything you have built. Others are faster, tougher, or dangerous enough to force you out of position. Recognize the greatest threats and eliminate them before they reach your people.
