About This Game

A Trans-Siberian Tea is a visual novel set aboard a Trans-Siberian train that has been buried under the snow for decades. The protagonist explores the train and uncovers the stories of the passengers frozen inside it in order to reveal the identity of "La Valériane", a legendary thief.

The protagonist, Henri Bernard, is a history professor who has been fascinated since childhood by La Valériane, a gentlewoman-thief known for mocking her victims by leaving behind a tea bag filled with valerian root as her signature. While researching her final robbery, a necklace that belonged to Tsarina Alexandra Romanov, Henri discovers clues suggesting that she may have ended up aboard a Trans-Siberian train that vanished decades ago.

When he finally makes his way inside, the frozen passengers seem to come back to life before his eyes, each one becoming another piece of the mystery he has spent his whole life chasing.
