Why Early Access?

“All core systems of Edge of the Blade — combat, economy, factions, and battlefield terrain — are implemented, and the game is fully playable today. Auto-battler strategy games get better as more players experiment with different army compositions. During Early Access, we want to refine balance and quality of life based on your feedback while we complete the Story Mode and its hand-drawn cutscenes.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last about five months, targeting a full release in the first half of 2027. The remaining work is mainly the Story Mode and hand-drawn cutscenes. This schedule may change depending on development and feedback, and we will announce any changes promptly.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, we plan to add:

A Story Mode that introduces the world through hand-drawn cutscenes, with four different endings based on your choices
Full support for all three factions and all three game modes
Balance, UI, and quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback

These plans may be adjusted based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version includes:
3 factions / 2 modes [ Story, Solo ]
- The complete combat and economy systems, including battlefield terrain
- Korean, English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese
- Story Mode: 1~4 Chapter Now.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The Early Access price is lower than the planned full release price, and the price may increase when the full version with Story Mode releases. We will announce any price change in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We collect bug reports and balance feedback on our Discord and the Steam discussion forums. We plan to release updates [every two weeks], and each patch note will explain which feedback we addressed.”
