Why Early Access?

“Chronicles of Jiuzhou is a roguelike deckbuilding cultivation game with a large content roadmap (inner arts, bosses, events, and localization). Early Access lets us ship a stable, playable core loop now while we balance combat, expand content, and polish UX with community feedback before 1.0.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect 6–12 months of active development, depending on player feedback and content scope. We will update the store page if the timeline changes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The 1.0 release will add more polished balance, additional events and bosses, full Steam achievements, quality-of-life improvements, and continued localization polish. Some advanced content paths are reserved for post-launch free updates rather than being in the initial EA scope.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Playable and content-rich for a full run: map progression, turn-based card combat, multiple inner-art builds, tribulation, meta progression, Simplified Chinese and English UI.
Known limitations: balance is still being tuned; some art/UI may use placeholders; Steam achievements are not yet live; only Windows is supported at launch.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price is not planned to increase at 1.0. Early Access purchasers receive all future updates at no extra cost.”
