Why Early Access?

“CATJAM is a game I put a lot of passion and effort into, and something I want to be able to shape into the best game it can be. Community feedback has always been at the core of me improving my projects and this will be no different. I wish for players to have access to new content as early as possible to achieve this goal.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in Early Access until the final act is complete and all features finalised. I can estimate the game will remain in Early Access for several years, duration may additionally be affected by community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game is planned to consist of "Acts", which divide the game world into 3 chunks. These are further divided into "Episodes", which act as major story arcs and new areas to explore. I plan to have 3 acts and 16 episodes total, with secrets abound!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of June 2026, the prologue and first major area are completed. This part of the game acts as the game's demo.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game's price will increase as more episodes and acts are added. Buy early to save your money!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'll be watching all feedback that happens on Steam/X and wherever else I can find. I'll be addressing bugs and general feedback. Please let me know how you feel about what's in the game already (story/battles/level design/music/sound etc.) community involvement from passionate fans has got the game this far, and I'd love for it continue that way.”

Catjam is a cattastic RPG Adventure. Fall in love with a colourful cast of characters, explore a varied world, uncover the histories of wondrous cultures, fight the mundane and the monstrous, and form unbreakable bonds with your party as you uncover the darkness covering Mu.
