“Early Access is expected to last roughly 6 to 9 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Currently, there are 2 playable protagonist classes. For the full release, we plan to introduce a 3rd distinct class featuring over 100 brand-new items to provide a fresh playstyle.
At present, companion Selen's personal storyline is still in development; the full version will include her complete storyline.
Additionally, based on community feedback, we will continuously add more items, enemies, random events, story chapters, and further gameplay features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes:
- 2 protagonist classes, each with their own unique item deck/pool.
- 3 unique companion characters, each with 2 distinct progression paths.
- Fully developed personal storylines for 2 of the companions.
- Over 250 usable items.
- 24+ distinct combat encounters.
- 50+ procedural random events.
You can already enjoy a complete, polished gameplay loop with 10+ hours of playtime per playthrough, backed by immense replayability through roguelike randomness and higher difficulty challenges.

Wasteland Messenger is currently in Early Access, but the core game is already nearly complete. The current version includes:

  • 3 playable protagonist classes, each with their own unique item pools

  • 3 distinct companion characters, each featuring 2 independent progression paths (with full personal storylines available for two companions)

  • 400+ usable items

  • 24 distinct combat encounters

  • 50+ unpredictable random events filled with both risk and reward

  • An intuitive event/story editor that requires almost no coding knowledge, allowing you to create custom storylines

Planned additions for the Full Release:

  • The complete personal storyline for the third companion

  • More items and enemies
