What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Family Office Simulator is launching in Early Access because the core simulation is playable, but the game is designed to improve with player feedback. The current version lets players build and manage a family office, acquire assets, manage capital, use debt, hire staff, and grow toward long-term institutional wealth. Early Access gives us a way to refine balance, onboarding, clarity, progression, and quality-of-life based on real player experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Family Office Simulator to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months. This may change depending on player feedback, balance needs, and the amount of polish and expansion needed before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to expand and polish the systems already present in Early Access. Planned areas of improvement include deeper onboarding, clearer tutorials and tooltips, expanded late-game progression, additional events, balance improvements, stronger long-term family office management, improved reporting, and further polish to the user interface and overall player experience. The goal is to make the family office simulation clearer, deeper, and more complete while preserving the core identity of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is playable and includes the core Family Office Simulator loop: starting a family office, managing capital, acquiring and operating assets, reviewing financial position, hiring staff, advancing time, and building toward a larger institution. Some systems, balance, explanations, and late-game content are still being improved. Players should expect a functional simulation with room for additional polish, tuning, and expansion during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Family Office Simulator is planned to launch in Early Access at a lower price than the eventual full release. The Early Access base price is currently planned at $19.99. The price may increase at or near the full release as the game grows in scope and polish.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Player feedback will help guide improvements to onboarding, balance, clarity, progression, and quality-of-life features. Feedback from Steam discussions, reviews, and support messages will help identify confusing systems, balance issues, bugs, and areas where the simulation should be clearer or deeper. Community input will help shape Early Access priorities while keeping the core vision focused on building, protecting, governing, and transferring generational wealth.”
