AXIS: Urban Samsara is a brutal 2D Action-RPG Metroidvania about violence, transformation, and the impossible road from the Bottom to the Summit.

You are nobody. No name, no past — only a Spark, a body full of rage, and Babylon above you: a vertical megacity wrapped around a colossal Mountain rising from the void between worlds. Every Layer is a different world-trap, with its own rules, enemies, architecture, and broken idea of what life should be.

The only way out is up.

Explore a vast interconnected city built vertically, from scrapyard slums and industrial wastelands to concrete temples, psychedelic metro stations, neon ruins, and surreal skyscrapers that should not exist.

Every district changes the way you move, fight, and read the world. Find shortcuts, hidden locations, branching routes, locked paths, and fragments of truth buried inside Babylon’s walls.

DYNAMIC, TACTILE COMBAT

Combat is built on timing, positioning, and reading your enemies. Dodge, punish, adapt.

Hundreds of distorted creatures hunt your Spark. Bosses — the Asuras — each have a unique pattern you learn like a song. Get it wrong and you fall. Get it right and it feels like a dance.

DEEP BUILD FREEDOM

Pull weapons from the bosses you kill. Combine them with Vajra Forms — technomagical upgrades that redefine your whole approach.

Daggers and Invisibility — kill from the shadows.
Hammer and Energy Shield — become a walking fortress.
Stack mutations, amulets, implants, scars, and runes on top.

Each Layer of Babylon is a physical incarnation of a stage of consciousness — fear, faith, power, control, success, compassion, illusion — turned into streets, enemies, traps, rituals, and impossible architecture.

Everything breathes, shifts, and whispers. The city is not just a place you cross. It is something that studies you while you climb.

You do not fully understand where you are: a city, a simulation, a prison, or someone’s dream.

Graffiti on the walls talks to you. Loudspeakers carry voices that know too much. Virgil — your ironic, metaphysically unhinged mentor — guides you deeper into the abyss with a smirk.
