Idlecraft is a hover-to-act idlegame: sweep your cursor to mine ore and fight mobs as dusk falls, race your hunger and health, then spend every run's haul on a skill tree, enchants, gear, and prestige before diving into the next run.

About This Game

Mine. Fight. Never stop moving your cursor.

Idlecraft is a hover-to-act idle game built on one rule: wherever your cursor lingers, it acts. Hold it over ore and your tool mines automatically. Hold it over a mob and you swing. There's no separate "mine" or "attack" button — just one square of influence that decides what happens next.

One Cursor, Two Pillars

  • Mining by day: sweep your cursor across a stylized voxel board to chip through wood, stone, iron, and beyond. Every block you clear pays out XP and resources.

  • Combat by night: as your hunger pool grows, runs naturally stretch into dusk and mobs start climbing onto the board. Fighting them uses the exact same hover mechanic, no new controls, just higher stakes.

Hunger and Health Set the Pace

There's no death in Idlecraft, only the end of a run. Every action costs hunger; let it run dry and your health starts draining instead. When health hits zero, the run ends and a rewards screen tallies everything you found. No punishment, no lost progress — just a clean cut to your next upgrade decision.

Every Run Feeds the Next

Between runs, spend what you earned across a growing set of systems:

  • Skill Tree; unlock new tools, new ore tiers, a bigger cursor range, higher hunger and health caps, and combat stats, all paid for in XP.

  • Enchants; smelt ore into bars at the furnace and climb a tiered enchant grid, one bar type per row.

  • Gear; mobs drop weapons and armor that level up on repeat drops. Equip your best loadout before diving into the next run.

  • Villagers; recruit permanent helpers who work the board on their own, run after run.

  • Prestige; cash in accumulated power for emeralds and a permanent tree of bonuses that carries across resets.

A World That Grows With You

Every run drops you onto a freshly generated board. Early on it's just wood and stone under open sky. Keep pushing your skill tree and the ore table deepens, the night grows teeth, and the board you started on stops looking anything like the one you're mining an hour later.

No tutorials. No busywork. Just point, hold, and watch the numbers climb.
