Mei has been able to see things that shouldn't be seen since she was young.

Fragments of others' memories would flood into her mind without warning - how her mother got the scar on her finger while chopping vegetables, who gave her deskmate the new pencil case, the strange old man on the side of the road who had been a soldier in his youth

The scene flashed by, like wind blowing over the water. She was used to it and never told anyone, because no one would believe her even if she did.

Two years ago, a devastating fire destroyed everything Mei had.

Her lover, Tan, was confirmed to have died from self-immolation. The police closed the case and sealed the file, with everyone saying, "He just committed suicide.".

Mei didn't believe it.

She became a detective. Not just to uphold justice, but also to prove one thing - that he would never leave her alone.

Then she traveled through time.
