Welcome, Abyssal Guardians!

Abyssal Guardians is a co-op horror extraction game for 1-4 players. Collect resources and supplies, pay the corporation and your next descent. Kill anything that gets in the way. 

Going Down

As an Abyssal Guardian, you and up to three co-workers descend as contractors down an elevator - the lower the floor, the higher the difficulty. It’s a self-imposed limitation only capped by your team’s greed. 

Literally(?) Endless Floors

Every descent is different, even if you choose the same floor numbers. You never know when your next chance to stock up on weapons or revive a teammate may be.

Split Up or Stick Together

Decide with your team if it’s better to split up or work as a group as the floors get ever more expansive while the likelihood of bigger monsters grows along with it. 

Survive

You can’t make money if you don’t survive. Everyone is expendable as long as you can make it to the next Debt Rush and get down further.

Abyssal Guardians is a horror game with frequent depictions of violence and gore. Players use firearms and melee weapons against monstrous creatures; combat produces blood, visible wounds and creature corpses that remain in the environment.

Player characters can be killed in graphic ways, including being grabbed, latched onto, blinded and dragged by creatures. The game relies on darkness, sudden creature encounters, sustained tension and body-horror creature design, and may be distressing to players sensitive to jump scares or claustrophobic environments.

The game includes a slot-machine-style device that uses fictional in-game credits earned through play. It cannot be operated with real money, no in-game currency can be purchased, and the game contains no microtransactions of any kind.

The game features online co-op with in-game voice chat. Player-to-player interactions are not moderated by the developer and may expose players to content not rated by any rating authority.
