Stranded alone on an alien world, your only hope of escape lies in deciphering the local spoken language and earning the trust of its speakers.

Armed with a translation recording device, you become a linguistic detective. Listen to the inhabitants, record fragments of their speech, and uncover their meaning through careful observation. Splice those recordings together to speak, solve puzzles, and return home.

Become a Linguistic Detective

The language of this world has no written form, so deciphering every word requires careful listening and observation. Listen closely for the same words to collect enough context clues to decipher them, watch carefully for environmental hints or familiar gestures, and use already deciphered words to figure out what new words might mean.

Document Your Discoveries

Your interactive journal automatically logs new words as you hear them. Use it to take pictures of your surroundings, write down notes, and assign meanings to your collected words. Once you lock in a guess, your device will automatically translate that word the next time you hear it, allowing you to piece together the greater puzzle one word at a time.

Speak Their Language

Understanding is only the first step. Splice recorded audio fragments together to build your own sentences and communicate with the inhabitants. By stringing together the words you've collected, you can answer questions, trade information, and solve puzzles to unlock new areas.
