Why Early Access?

“Road Ready VR is being developed as a PC VR driving practice simulator, and Early Access allows us to improve the experience with direct feedback from players using different VR headsets, controllers, and PC hardware.

Driving feel, comfort, performance, road scenarios, tutorials, and vehicle handling all benefit from real player testing. Early Access will help us refine the game while expanding the PC VR version with more lessons, environments, vehicles, customization, and quality-of-life improvements.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Road Ready VR to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months.

This may change depending on player feedback, PC VR performance testing, headset compatibility, and the amount of additional content and polish needed before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include more polished driving scenarios, expanded training content, improved traffic and pedestrian behavior, additional vehicles, more customization options, refined road-test style practice, improved PC VR performance, better comfort settings, and broader headset/controller testing.

We also plan to improve the overall user experience based on community feedback, including driving feel, tutorials, menus, accessibility, and quality-of-life features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Road Ready VR is currently being prepared for PC VR. The Early Access version is planned to include core VR driving gameplay, first-person cockpit driving, free roam practice, parking practice, traffic rules, road signs, intersections, and beginner-friendly driving scenarios.

The game is in active development, so features, visuals, performance, supported devices, and content may change before and during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Road Ready VR will be offered at a lower price during Early Access.

The price is planned to increase for the full release as more content, vehicles, lessons, customization features, PC VR optimization, and polish are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use player feedback to improve Road Ready VR throughout Early Access.

Community feedback will help us prioritize improvements to driving feel, comfort, controls, PC VR performance, headset compatibility, tutorials, traffic behavior, lesson design, vehicle handling, customization, and overall usability.

Players will be able to share feedback, bug reports, and suggestions through Steam discussions, reviews, update posts, and official Fake Souls support channels.”
