About This Game

Between the Lines is a puzzle game centered around the transformation of Chinese characters.

In the game, every block is a Chinese character. You will push character blocks and create new characters through combination, decomposition, and transformation in order to complete each level’s objective. The position of each character, the order of combination, and the timing of triggering mechanisms can all affect the solution to a puzzle. The game also includes a dictionary system that records the characters you unlock along the way.

As you progress, more rules related to Chinese characters will gradually be introduced. Explore the vast world of Chinese writing, and discover new possibilities between the lines.
