Dozen Chess is a turn-based strategy roguelike that reinterprets the rules of chess into a modern tactical RPG.

Players must utilize limited resources and action points to optimally deploy their pieces, combine unique skills, and overcome a trial consisting of 12 distinct stages.

[h1]Core Game Systems[/h1]

1. Preparation Phase: The foundational stage before combat begins.

• Shop: Purchase pieces and items using accumulated credits.

• Strategic Deployment: Freely deploy up to 12 pieces onto the field.

• Merge (Upgrade): Combine identical pieces to increase their level and maximize their stats.

2. Battle Phase: The stage where actual combat takes place.

• Action Points (AP): 3 Action Points are granted each turn. Carefully allocate them across movement, skills, and item usage.

• Skills & Items: Utilize each piece's unique skills and inventory items to turn the tide of battle in your favor.

• Attack: Once the player's turn ends, all allied pieces launch an attack simultaneously.

A journey consisting of 12 stages total awaits you. Test the limits of your piece combinations and strategies against enemies that grow increasingly powerful with each stage!
