About This Game

Countdown to Midnight is a visual novel adventure where you follow a depressed young man as he searches for a reason to live.

It's New Year's Eve. Vesper is a college dropout who stopped talking to his friends and family and currently works a dead-end job at a convenience store. He's convinced that he has nothing to live for... until a girl literally drops out of the sky and drags him on an adventure. Follow the pair as they explore the city, investigate locations, collect items through point-and-click mechanics, and help a variety of colorful characters overcome their problems. 

Maybe by learning about the struggles of others, he can learn more about himself, too?
