You find a mysterious box full of home videos in your parents' attic. A box that your parents really don't want you to open. What are they hiding?

Uncover your family's secret

Burning Bridges is one of the first explorative movie games, bringing the worlds of games, movies and music together in a very unique way. In this narrative game, you play the 25-year-old son who returns to his childhood home. You will unravel a family secret through the '90s videotapes of your parents' rock band, their letters and other objects. While doing that, you learn more about them, their band's mysterious lead singer Tanja, and who she really was.

What you discover turns your life and your relationship with your parents upside down. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide how you want to confront them with the secret you've uncovered.

A narrative story, told by an interdisciplinary team

We are an interdisciplinary team from the games, film and movie industry. In our core team, we are a filmmaker and a game developer, merging the interactivity of games with cinematic storytelling through the lens of original camcorders from the 90s.
We founded Screen Play Studio in 2025, and plan to release more FMV games in the future.
