What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Crystalyn is my first major game as a solo dev, and because of this, I would like to hear what the community and the players say about it. As a solo dev, it’s difficult to get every aspect right without your help. Early Access allows me to learn from your feedback and how you play the game in order to make it as fun of an experience as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to keep the game in Early Access for about 3 months, but this could change depending on how fast I can make progress, and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to keep working on Crystalyn every day and push as much content out as possible, this will mean more levels, higher difficulties, more bosses and enemies, more weapons, upgrades, more layers to get game etc.
As long as there are people playing the game I'll add more content, I love working on Crystalyn”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the current version, 3/5 difficulty levels are playable, all of the main mechanics and systems are in the game working completely, the only remaining things are the late game contents, more boss and enemy variety, polishing, and balancing things based on player feedback”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The Early Access price will be lower than the base game price, that means the base game will be priced higher than how is it currently”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I always listen to player feedback, I'm making a game for you guys, not myself, so if anyone has any suggestions, found a bug, or would like things to be changed, contact me on Crystalyn's Discord server or on the Steam forums, and we'll talk about it”

About This Game

About the Game

Do you enjoy chaos? Unreasonable amounts of loot? Killing bosses that are 10 times as big as you?

Welcome to Crystalyn, a bullet-hell looter shooter where getting stupidly powerful is not a bug, it's the whole point.

Push your build to the limit

Upgrade a big skill tree, collect boss drops, and equip gear that turns you into a walking destruction machine.

There is no such thing as too many bullets. I checked.

Fight. Loot. Upgrade. Repeat.

Drop into maps with increasing difficulty, slaughter everything that moves, grab their loot, and bring it back to the lobby. Upgrade. Equip. Prestige. Go back in. Do it again. The enemies won't get a break, and you won't get bored.

Infinite ways to get stronger

Upgrade the skill tree, buy new weapons, collect better boss drops, use incantations, prestige and earn ultra powerful cards. You are only getting stronger, until the whole screen is covered in bullets.

It never stops

More difficulty settings, more maps, more chaos. The game does not slow down. Neither should you.
