“The first portion of the game is done and ready to be played. We have a checklist of things that need to be updated such as animation, continual areas, and game balancing. Early access also lets us communicate with fans of the game in order to shape the final product. ”

“We are expecting by the end of 2026 we will have the full game out with all animations and maps.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add part two and three of the game that includes additional maps as well as corresponding skill trees as well as revamping the audio for the game into self made pieces instead of just royalty free.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable in the first part of the game including the roguelite elements that correspond with its map.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price as the major updates come out leading to the full release of the game. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a discord that we frequent in order to hear the opinions and requests of the community. We also have a detailed plan of what is to come but we encourage players to give their ideas even if it goes against that plan. A game without community input is not a game at all.”

Slimecity is a colorful swarm-control roguelite about leading a cheerful little slime family through a bright, bouncy world.

Start each run with a tiny group of adorable slimes and guide them around the city with your cursor. Your slimes wiggle, wobble, and work together as a growing swarm, collecting goobies, exploring new areas, overrunning buildings, and bumping into silly enemies along the way.

Between runs, return to your cozy cave to bank your resources and unlock permanent upgrades. Grow your slime group from a few tiny blobs into a big, playful crowd. Upgrade your starting slime count, carrying capacity, vision, influence range, speed, health, damage, and more through a visual underground skill tree.

Each run lets you push a little farther, discover new enemy spots, collect more resources, and make your slime swarm even cuter, stronger, and more chaotic.
