«Slimeball Castle Wars is my first game, i want to complete it gradually. The core battle is fun today, but there's a lot I still want to add and try out especially the online multiplayer, more units, buildings, and game modes and I think the best version of this game will come from shaping those additions around real player feedback rather than guessing in isolation. Early Access lets a community form early and have a direct say in where the game goes, while I keep developing it.»

«I'd estimate 6 months. I'd rather under-promise and keep improving the game than rush it out. And since i cant do this full time it might take some time. »

«Plan to keep expanding the game:
Adding more units, buildings, and abilities, plus deeper upgrade and progression options.
Introducing additional game modes.
Expanding customization and cosmetics.
Ongoing balance tuning and some endgame progression.
Achievements and a overarching progress tree maybe.»

Каково текущее состояние версии в раннем доступе?

«The game is playable today with its core systems in place: single-player matches against AI, online multiplayer lobbies, the lane-based castle-wars combat with its rock-paper-scissors unit matchups, a full economy and building system, unit upgrades, custom unit skins, and a guided tutorial. Whats needed is a multiplayer first logic since this is meant to be a LAN game first.»

Изменится ли цена игры после выхода из раннего доступа?

«I don't plan to lower the price much before the release. I will raise the price on release and maybe do sales on some events but buying earlier will likely be the lower-cost option. Since its not that expensive of a game the change will be minimal.»

Как вы планируете вовлекать сообщество в разработку игры?

«Community feedback will directly influence what I build and how I balance the game. I plan to gather feedback and based on that find out what direction i should go. The main idea is there but since this games main mode has existed in mods for other games for years theres alot of changes that might make the experience better.»
