A peaceful day by the river takes a glittering turn when Hercules, Megara, and their friends notice that everything around them has gained a golden shine—as if King Midas himself had passed through. Curious and concerned, they set off downstream to uncover the source of the mysterious transformation.

 

Their journey soon reveals a land consumed by gold fever. Mountains are riddled with mines, deserts echo with the sound of pickaxes, and fortune seekers swarm every corner in search of untold riches. But beneath the glitter lies a dangerous curse that has driven the mighty river god Achelous to madness, threatening both nature and those blinded by greed.
