About This Game

Sucked into a digital world made out of your mind, you will need to navigate the fragmented memories of a recluse.

Cubic Haikus: hikikomori is a minimalistic, physics-based narrative puzzle where colors govern the rules of reality and poetry unlocks the path forward.

Trapped inside your monitor after a sudden outburst of rage, you awaken as a solitary white cube in a surreal, but familiar, landscape. To find your way through it, you must manipulate the environment by shifting your color. The world reacts to what you emit. Match your hue using Color Emitters to activate circuits, clear physical obstacles or detonate the blockades keeping your memories locked away.

As you push through these distinct emotional chapters, you will uncover the haikus that tell your story. These poems are the key to progression, unlocking the pieces of a life left behind.

Ultimately, the way you align the final colors will dictate your fate. Your choices will lead to one of three distinct conclusions.

No rush, no deaths, just a poetic journey into yourself.
