What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our primary reason for launching in Early Access is to gather player feedback as early as possible, ensuring the core experience is both highly enjoyable and perfectly balanced. We strongly believe that active community interaction elevates the game’s fun factor and is crucial for maintaining its long-term sustainability.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are currently aiming for a full 1.0 release toward the end of the year. However, this timeline may shift depending on the feedback we receive. Our ultimate goal is to deliver the most polished experience possible; if community feedback highlights the need for significant adjustments or additional content, we are fully prepared to take the extra time needed to refine the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Veterans of the roguelike genre know that a diverse pool of items, weapons, and enemies is key to maximizing replayability and fun. Guided by our own internal roadmap and your invaluable feedback, we plan to significantly expand the game's scope. For the full release, we aim to introduce a Challenge Mode, additional arenas, and a wealth of new content to deepen the overall gameplay loop.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently sitting comfortably between a traditional Early Access build and a full release. The core gameplay mechanics are fully implemented and function seamlessly without missing features. However, reaching the full 1.0 version will provide that truly "complete" feeling by fleshing out the sheer volume of content available.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“If we remain on track for a full release by the end of this year, we do not anticipate changing the price. However, should community feedback inspire us to significantly expand the scope of our development plans and add substantial new features, there may be a modest price increase to reflect the added value of the 1.0 version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We maintain an active presence across all our social media channels and highly value direct communication with our players. With every update, we will post detailed patch notes and development blogs directly on Steam, ensuring the community can transparently track our progress. By staying closely connected with our players across all platforms, our ultimate goal is to craft a flawless, highly enjoyable experience shaped directly by the people who play it.”

About This Game

Fly. Stack. Die. Repeat.

Drone Arena is a survivors-like arena roguelite. You pilot a combat

drone into a sealed arena, hold out against escalating waves of hostile

machines, and build a loadout powerful enough to survive the clock.

There are no checkpoints. Every run is a fresh attempt at a better build.

Builds That Break the Arena

Ten weapons. Seven drone bodies. Each body changes how you fly, what you

can carry, and which weapons it wants. Items and power-ups drop mid-run,

and the interesting decision is never "which is strongest" — it's which

combination turns your drone into something the arena wasn't designed

to handle.

The Arena Fights Back

Waves escalate, world events reshape the fight mid-run, and bosses arrive

to punish builds that only do one thing well. Survive to the end of the

timer and the next arena opens up.

Short Runs, Long Nights

A run takes minutes. Learning why it ended takes one more. Drone Arena

is built around the moment you close the results screen and immediately

start again with a different plan.

Bring a Wingman

Take the arena on with a friend. Two drones, two builds, twice as much

going wrong at once.

Try It First

The demo is live right now. Play a few runs, then wishlist Drone Arena

to get notified the moment the full version launches.
