What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Choosing Early Access because while the core gameplay mechanics of Leave on Time are already fully playable and engaging, we want to involve the community in shaping its final version. Currently, the game is in an active development stage; over the coming months, we plan to comprehensively upgrade the art assets, polish the visual performance, and gradually introduce richer new features and expanded content based directly on player feedback. Early Access allows us to establish a close relationship with our players, helping us better balance and refine the game. We are fully committed to regular updates and transparent communication throughout this journey, working hand-in-hand with the community toward the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Six months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan the game Leave on time for the full version to be much richer in content volume, system depth, and overall polish compared to the initial Early Access version.

During the Early Access period, we plan to gradually expand the game in the following areas:

Core Content Expansion: We plan to progressively add more [levels / characters / weapons & equipment / enemy types] to greatly enrich replayability.

Features & Systems Evolution: We plan to introduce elements such as [ a more complete storyline / meta-progression systems / optimized multiplayer] to enhance the game's overall depth.

Visual, Audio & Performance Polish: Based on community feedback, we plan to continuously upgrade and replace temporary art assets and sound effects, while consistently optimizing game performance and localization.

Please note that the final specific content of the full version may be flexibly adjusted based on real player feedback and actual development conditions. While we cannot make definitive promises regarding specific future features, we plan to work wholeheartedly toward achieving this vision.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Please refer to "About This" section for details.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We deeply believe that the community is the cornerstone of a successful Early Access. Player feedback will directly shape the development priorities and the ultimate direction of Leave on Time.

Specifically, we plan to involve the community through the following methods:

Feedback Integration: We will closely monitor player feedback regarding gameplay balance, bug reports, and suggestions for new content (e.g., new items, new stages), using them as crucial guidelines for our weekly updates.

Transparent Communication: We will regularly publish detailed Devlogs and a long-term Roadmap to keep our players fully informed of our progress and upcoming features.

Our Preferred Method of Communication:
Players can engage with us directly via the in-game feedback link. We will review and respond to community messages daily, ensuring that every player's voice is heard and valued.”

About This Game

ABOUT LEAVE ON TIME

Leave on Time is a co-op roguelite dungeon crawler about overtime, office absurdity, and fighting for your right to clock out.

You and your coworkers are trapped inside a company that never wants the workday to end. Meetings, performance reviews, last-minute requests, blame-shifting managers, and loyal overtime enthusiasts have all taken physical form. They are here to keep you at your desk forever.

Grab ridiculous office weapons, collect strange workplace-themed items, rescue downed teammates, clear each floor, and fight your way to the company exit.

Features

  • Co-op Roguelite Combat
Enter randomly generated combat rooms with your team, clear waves of enemies, share loot, and revive fallen coworkers.

  • Workplace Dark Humor
Enemies, items, achievements, and endings are built around overtime culture, corporate pressure, office politics, and the sacred dream of leaving on time.

  • Randomized Dungeon Runs
Each run creates a different layout, route, room chain, and reward flow. Build your character through attack boosts, defense, shields, lifesteal, bouncing projectiles, slow effects, freezing effects, and more.

  • Absurd Office Weapons
Fire laser weapons, swing office-themed gear, spray enemies with a fire extinguisher, and turn workplace nonsense into firepower.

  • Team Revives and Shared Loot
Getting downed is not the end. Teammates can revive you, and loot requires deliberate interaction so your team can decide who gets what.

  • Multiple Endings
Leave on time, keep fighting, or fall under the weight of endless work. Every ending says something about survival, escape, and reclaiming your life.

Your Goal

Clear the dungeon, defeat the final boss, reach the company gate, and make your choice:

Leave on time, or keep fighting the overtime loyalists?
