RefmusePaper connects AI-assisted creation with local wallpaper management. Use the online Refmuse Workbench to create static wallpapers and live/video wallpapers from text prompts or reference images, import selected results into your local library, and apply them to your desktop.

AI creation and credits

AI-assisted creation requires an internet connection, a Refmuse account, and available credits. Additional credits purchased in the Steam version are processed through Steam Wallet. The required credit amount is shown before a generation task is submitted. Available models, generation modes, duration, resolution, and processing time may vary with service availability. Prompts, reference images, and generated results are subject to automated safety checks, provider review, and content restrictions.

Live wallpaper notes

Live wallpaper generation uses supported cloud video models. Available first-frame, first-and-last-frame, reference-image, duration, and resolution options depend on the selected model. The Windows version can play supported video results as live wallpapers. Feature availability may vary by operating system.

Mainland China availability

RefmusePaper is currently unavailable for purchase on Steam in mainland China due to a Steam regional restriction. A region-specific version for mainland China is currently in development. Its feature scope and release schedule have not yet been finalized. Product availability and online services may vary by region.
