Why Early Access?

“Slop Squad is perfectly playable and I think it's a lot of fun, particularly with friends. I've got a lot of things I'd like to add to it and would love to hear your thoughts as we go along. I'm planning to add a lot of content, new mechanics, maps, enemies to make it a much better game as a result of the community. The base gameplay is there, it's now time to build on it.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 6-12 months. Nevertheless, the game will remain in Early Access until I'm completely satisfied with it. It will be determined by how much it can grow with your help.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Slop Squad should be endlessly replayable. Some additions to the final product include:

more enemies,
different maps and rooms,
additional mutators,
shop and upgrade items,
player customization and progression.

Finally, I would like to fix any existing bugs and balance the game, so the game can be enjoyable for new players as well as veteran players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable solo or in online co-op with up to 4 players, with proximity voice chat.
Procedurally generated map levels that never repeat, with no level cap and growing scrap quotas.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I might increase the price when Slop Squad reaches version 1.0”
