Watanuki Sakuya awakens in an old shrine.

Before her hangs the corpse of a girl, flowers blooming from every part of her body.

She had only come to the village with her best friend for a certain purpose.

What has happened to her?

The nine other girls still alive inside the shrine each have a flower blooming from one eye.

Before long, a caretaker girl named Yumemi appears and explains the situation.

“You are magical girls chosen for the Kamibana.

Every night at 8 PM, during the Flower Offering Ritual,

one girl will be chosen as a sacrifice to the Kamibana—and hanged.”

However, most depictions of violence and blood are presented through artistic and unrealistic imagery rather than realistic portrayals.

Additionally, the game does not use jump scare-style effects, in order to reduce psychological impact while preserving the atmosphere of the work.
