Hired Hands

Mal, Alice, Genndy, and Terra are mercenaries - MERCS - who have found themselves swept up in a mysterious adventure. Mal is a sturdy knight, Alice is a cunning elf mage, Genndy is a powerful wizard, and Terra is an agile ranger. Guide this team through perilous trials as you accept quests, navigate a procedurally generated dungeon, and fight scores of monsters.

Turn-Based Combat

Strategize to make the optimal move as you face off against wicked monsters in snappy turn-based battles. Encounters require no quick reflexes, so it all comes down to how you utilize the strengths and weaknesses of your Mercs. Push a Merc too hard in combat and they'll be overcome with fatigue. Learn enemy behaviors and never be caught off guard.

Loads of Loot

Collect powerful weapons and magical charms, and choose the right toolset for each Merc. Learn new character skills by equipping weapons - they'll help you turn the tide in battle. Be careful with unidentified items... some are cursed! As you overcome new and more difficult challenges, you'll find better loot to distribute to your team.
