Synopsis

A story that intersects with events from 100 years ago—the battle to save the captives begins. The monsters known as “Tentacles” threaten the kingdom. These fearsome creatures have made their nests deep underground, snatching people away and vanishing into the darkness. Dungeons across the land have been conquered by elite warriors. Yet there is one exception—the “Dungeon of the Void.” Not a single person who has dared to challenge it has ever returned. —One hundred years ago, Tanya, the kingdom’s mightiest warrior, was ordered to subdue the Dungeon of the Void. A hero who had single-handedly conquered countless dungeons, she swore to her childhood friend, the princess, that she would return. Yet she never came back. The Holy Maiden Freyja, determined to save her childhood friend, defied her father the king and set out for the dungeon. She, too, vanished without a trace. ――In the present day, rookie warrior Lean joined the army to earn money for medicine for her sickly older sister, Elna. One night, her sister was snatched away by a giant tentacle. The direction she vanished in was—the Dungeon of the Void. Venturing into the dungeon alone, Lean found an old diary. “I entered the dungeon in pursuit of Tanya, and several days have passed—” Heroes who vanished 100 years ago. Yet nowhere did it say they were “dead.” What will become of her sister? Are those who were captured still alive? The fierce battle of the frail girl, Lean, begins.
