What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The combat system is built on 30 relics and 15 enemies, and its balance cannot be adjusted with the help of several testers. We need thousands of runs from real players to adjust the numbers and difficulty curves before we add the last two acts. Early access allows us to do this iteratively, based on data rather than guesswork.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are counting on 12-18 months. The exact deadline depends on how much the game will have to be redesigned based on the results of testing. This is an assessment, not a hard promise; we will update it as we go along.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The plans include two additional acts, final bosses, new enemies and relics. We intend to add content in this direction, but the order may change depending on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The first act is completed: 30 relics, 18 enemies, 1 main character and three bosses. The game is completely passable from the beginning to the end of the first act, all the basic mechanics are working.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yeah. Currently, the game is priced 50% below the final price. As we approach release 1.0, we plan to gradually raise the price to the full amount. Everyone who buys during early access will lock in the lower price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read the Steam forum; all bug reports go into the tracker. Patches with fixes and balance adjustments are released every two weeks, and in the patch notes we indicate what changes were made based on player feedback. The public roadmap is updated monthly.”
