Red Wire is a cooperative game for 2–4 players in which a team tries to defuse bombs. Players must race through levels, find electrical panels, and cut wires—but only if you coordinate with your partner on which one to cut. It’s fun chaos, voice chat, and one rule: just don’t cut the red wire!

About This Game

A supervillain has planted bombs all over the city—and now only you can save it.

Step by step, block by block, your team must find and defuse all the bombs before the timer runs out.

The task sounds simple: find the electrical panels hidden throughout the levels and cut the wires in pairs. But the wires in each panel are labeled differently; some are even hidden behind a “?” symbol, and the necessary pairs are scattered across different parts of the level. That means a lot of running, a lot of shouting into the mic, and listening very carefully to your partner.

There are always more panels on a level than there are players, so each player is torn between several points at once. One wrong cut—and everything blows up. But that’s not the end: you can start over and try to coordinate a little better.

Red Wire is designed in the spirit of comedy—funny, chaotic, and a little absurd. Even if the whole team blows up—no one will really get hurt. Almost.

The game is perfect for a group of friends over a few evenings: quick 4–8-minute sessions, no steep learning curve, and guaranteed laughter in the voice chat.

Key Features

  • Teamwork for 2–4 players—you can’t defuse the bomb alone

  • Real-time puzzles with mounting tension—you have to find, match, and cut wires as the timer ticks down

  • Voice chat—a crucial part of the game: constant coordination with teammates is essential, or everything will blow up

  • Quick sessions—each run takes 4 to 8 minutes, so it’s easy to play again, and then again, and again.

  • Any player can accidentally ruin everything—oops.

  • A comedic atmosphere where explosions are just an excuse to laugh

  • The 3D first-person view offers total immersion in the chaos

  • You can also clear away the obstructing crowd of city dwellers by whacking them with a traffic sign. Have you been dreaming of doing this for a long time?
