Go (Baduk / Weiqi) is a timeless strategy game, but learning it shouldn’t feel ancient. Companion Baduk pairs you with modern, beginner‑friendly AI sparring partners and a library of interactive puzzles so you can explore the board with confidence from day one.

Our mission is simple: give every new player the thrill of meaningful, steady progress by combining smart AI opponents with engaging, bite‑sized lessons.

Click Play to jump straight into a match—komi, board size, rules, and AI strength are auto‑tuned so you can focus on the fun. Four core modes keep things fresh:

  • Chinese – Corner stones pre‑placed in the classic Chinese opening
