Why Early Access?

“This is my very first release of my very first game. I would like to get it out there as is and see how many people are interested in my silly slug games. If there is enough interest, I will add more levels and more story to Sluggy Nom Nom, allowing it to grow from a simple arcade game into something more interesting. For now, have fun with what I have made!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Tentatively the full release of Sluggy Nom Nom will come sometime in 2028. Make sure to follow me on my social media and here on Steam for updates on my game's progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Some of my future plans include adding more story and cutscenes and making maze like levels that the player could progress through in an "Adventure Mode" while keeping the timed food eating gameplay as an "Arcade Mode". Perhaps I may even add some boss fights.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It is playable and hopefully, mostly free of bugs. There are a few issues I know of but they are minor and do not affect the gameplay experience. For a list of features, please see the "About" section.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The plan is to increase the price when the game leaves early access but allow those who purchase it during early access to update and receive the full release without paying extra.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

About This Game

Sluggy Nom Nom is a fun, simple, food chomping arcade game suitable for all ages! Play as a hungry banana slug and scarf down as many noms as you can before the timer runs out! Avoid yucks and food that seems...sus.... Play again and again to earn new high scores! Submit your personal best score to the global leaderboard to compare and compete with friends! Have a sluggin' good time!
