Why Early Access?

“ombo Carnage is launching in Early Access because we want to develop the game alongside our community rather than wait until everything is finished before letting players experience it.

The Early Access version contains the core gameplay and systems that make up Combo Carnage, giving players a substantial game to play from day one. During Early Access, we will continue improving the game, fixing bugs, balancing gameplay, adding new content, and developing new features.

Early Access also gives us the opportunity to listen directly to players and use their feedback to help shape the future of the game. Our goal is to build Combo Carnage into the best version of the game we can, while keeping the community involved throughout development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current goal is to leave Early Access within approximately 6–12 months.

This timeframe may change depending on development progress, the amount of new content we introduce, feedback from the community, and other circumstances during development. We would rather take the time necessary to deliver a polished full release than rush the game simply to meet a fixed deadline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release is planned to expand significantly beyond the Early Access version.

Our current plans include multiplayer, a larger game world, additional locations, custom houses, new events, new gameplay features, additional content, improvements to existing systems, and much more.

Some of these features may change during development as we receive feedback from the community. We want players to be involved in the process and help us determine which ideas and improvements will have the biggest impact on the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“he Early Access version is currently in Alpha and contains the core gameplay experience of Combo Carnage.

Players can expect to experience the main gameplay loop, explore the available game world, interact with its systems, and play the content currently implemented in the game.

The game is still actively being developed, so players should expect bugs, balance changes, improvements, and unfinished or evolving features during Early Access.

We will continue adding content and improving the game throughout the Early Access period building up to the beta.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes.

Combo Carnage will be offered at a lower Early Access price while the game is still in development.

As we add significant amounts of new content, features, and improvements, the price may gradually increase. Players who purchase the game during Early Access will be able to continue playing as the game develops and will not need to purchase the full release separately.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of the development of Combo Carnage.

We will use Steam discussions, player feedback, community suggestions, bug reports, and feedback from updates and play sessions to help identify problems and decide which areas of the game should be improved or expanded.

We will regularly communicate development progress and share information about upcoming updates, new features, events, and changes.

We also plan to involve the community through livestreams and other community events, giving players opportunities to see development as it happens and provide feedback directly.

Not every suggestion will be possible to implement, but we will actively consider community feedback when making development decisions. Our aim is for players to feel that they are genuinely part of the development of Combo Carnage rather than simply waiting for the finished game.”
